5 Photo Essay

Success in 5 Pictures

Success can't really be defined in 5 pictures.  Or can it?  To me, it's not fully defined, but pictures definitely capture a snapshot of a successful moment.  Success is different for everyone, and if someone was to have the same success pictures as me, that would be a bit weird.  So long story short, here are 5 (I could probably pick about 20) pictures that show a small glimpse of success to me.
The Color Run
The Color Run is one of the most amazing things I've done.
I have heard SO many people say that that's one thing they want to do before they die.
And what's even better, is I did it with my best friends.
This shows success to me because it's something I've always wanted to do, and I did it.

Swimming With Dolphins In Miami
Wow, where to begin.
I've always wanted to swim with dolphins.
When we went to Florida last Christmas, my dream came true.
I would say that swimming with dolphins is a definite success story, because I accomplished something I've always wanted to do.

Roller Skating
Hahaha, I can't help but laugh when I think about this night.
This is me with some of my friends.
I thought it would be a good idea to join them and about 30 other people from my school for roller skating.
Nope, it was an awful idea.
I fell nearly every time I attempted to move my feet.
Yet, I still consider this a success story.
I thought in my head that I have no idea how to roller skate.
And I didn't.
I didn't let that stop me though.
I kept trying and kept going out there and doing it.
I did fail miserably, but I still tried it, and to me that makes me successful.
I was seriously sore for the next few days though.

 Graduation
Top left: me and one of my best friends. Top right: two of the most amazing people in my life. Bottom left: walking out of the graduation hall extremely happy.  Bottom left: my graduating class, all 34 of us :)
 I did it!
I graduated high school.
For me, I didn't really struggle through high school.
I went to class almost every day, and got almost all A's.
But the fact that I actually walked down that aisle when a lot of people don't get to, that makes me successful.

 One Man
Last but definitely not least.
This is probably my favorite picture that defines success for me.
Save the best for last, right?
This is me and my best friend doing a one man.
There are so many aspects to this picture.
Strength, success, power, friendship, trust...
It is not easy to hold someone up there for about 5 minutes while the photographer takes his time.
Many people think this is photoshopped, and if you do, then you're 100% wrong.
Yay for being successful with my best friend :)
