Trapped: Everyone in The Giver is trapped inside this world that they view as perfect, but is actually far from it.
Clones: The characters are not literally clones of each other, but pretty close considering how they grow up.
Orderly: Everything that takes place is in order from when the children get their bike to the ceremony of going to the next age.
Plain: Everything they see is in black and white; except for the Giver, and eventually Jonas
Smooth: There appears to be no conflict whatsoever. People don't speak in a rude way, and there's really no arguments.
These 5 words are all very good choices for the book, but one especially jumps out at me. Trapped. What a good word for the members of the community. They are like animals in a cage, and they don't even know it.
